- Dearness Allowance (DA): This is the cost of living based on the basic pay provided by the bank. DA is now valued at 26% of basic pay which is about Rs 9400/-.
- Special Allowance: This allowance stands at 16.4 % of the Basic Pay.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): As the name implies, HRA covers the employee’s lodging expenses in the city where he or she lives. HRA varies depending on the location of employment, ranging from 9% – 7%.
- City Compensatory Allowance (CCA): CCA is provided to help employees working in metropolitan areas cope with the high expense of living. CCA is normally 4 percent, 3 percent, or 0 percent, depending on where you work.
